With Fathers Day approaching, June is all about the guys. Men we salute you with or without kids.

Hello.Salon welcomes Rob Stark to our team. Rob, the barber is here and ready to take care of your haircut and shaving needs. He offers hot shaves, beard trims, neck shaves and precision haircuts for men and women, This Friday the 9th we are having an event for you to meet Rob. We will be cooking up bratwurst, serving beer, and shaving faces. Join us for a free lunch and to welcome Rob to the Hello team.

We have decided to change our men's care line to Imperial Barber. An American made barber product that has become an authority in masculine grooming. We appreciate the timeless products made by barbers and made to work. We will be getting the entire line over time and have chosen to start with the most versatile products. We will have Field Shave Kits and roll on cologne perfect for a Father's Day gift!

May has come and gone so fast, blink and it will be ponytail and pool time. Lucky for you we have just stocked up on SU. SU is a seasonal line from Davines, it helps protect your strands from the sun and fun. This line contains hair & body wash, hair mask, hair milk, and aftersun. 

In the month of April, Hello.Salon was the first in Oklahoma to partner with GreenCircle Salons, a recycling program for salons.  This means that 85-95% of our salon waste is recycled and/or repurposed, and kept our of landfills and waterways.  We even recycle the hair we cut! It is shipped to a women's prison in B.C. where the women have be taught how to make hair booms. The hair booms are then shipped out to help clean up major oil spills! This program is funded by an environmental stewardship fee included in the cost of your visit. Doesn't it feel good to help us play a part in environmental health?!?

Also in the month of April the salon closed down for a weekend and we went on a camping, okay it was a glamping trip. We traveled to Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas. Francie's parents had their camper all set up for us. We hiked, biked and ate with intermittent treks down to the only wifi hotspot in the campground. If you love or even kind of like being in the outdoors, Devil's Den is a must. Beautiful landscape, clean campgrounds, easy to difficult hikes, a suspended bridges, rivers and waterfalls; a camping location not to be missed.

Spring is here and we couldn't be more excited for warmer weather! We are loving all the colors coming out in our garden area, planted by our in house gardener Francie. Seeing all the changes in nature reminds us that now is a good time to make a change in our own personal style. If you have been contemplating a new 'do, go for it! We have also been loving the new clothing styles for spring inside Slade Boutique located at the front of Hello.Salon.

Since many of you are making your locks lighter we are featuring Melu shampoo, conditioner, and hair shield spray. Melu is an anti-breakage product for long or damaged hair. It contains lentil seed extract. It is rich in serine and glutamic acid, the most abundant amino acids in keratin, it nourishes and repairs.  The month of April all three products are 10% off.

We will be closed Saturday April 22nd. We are headed to Devils Den Arkansas for a weekend of camping and team building.
